Dr. Lindy Mackey


Dr. Mackey grew up in Kenora, Ontario and completed her Bachelor of Honours Science at the University of Waterloo. She continued her studies at the University of Waterloo’s School of Optometry where she graduated on the Dean’s Honour List.

During her studies, Dr. Mackey completed an externship at the Lexington Veteran Affairs Medical Centre in Kentucky focusing on the treatment and management of ocular disease including glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration. In 2016, she participated in a charitable eye care clinic in Moldova.

Dr. Mackey is currently a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Ottawa Society of Optometrists. Outside of clinic, Dr. Mackey enjoys traveling, art projects and spending time outdoors. She is excited to be starting her career in Kanata and looks forward to meeting you and your family.


Dr. Annie Micucci

Dr. Micucci completed a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa in 2007 and graduated on the Dean’s Honours List from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2011. In 2014, Dr. Micucci was awarded Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. She has been a volunteer with the College of Optometrists of Ontario since 2012. She has also been active in the community, speaking to family doctors and other health care providers about the benefits and importance of regular eye care.
Dr. Micucci was born and raised in Ottawa, and she especially enjoys hiking and tap dancing. Dr. Micucci is an avid traveler, and as part of her love of travel has participated in two charitable eye care clinics abroad – in the Philippines in 2012 and in Kenya in 2015. At home, Dr. Micucci is an active member of H.O.P.E Ottawa-Carleton, a local charity.

Dr. Vanessa Wong

Dr. Wong grew up in Oakville, Ontario and completed her Bachelor of Science at McGill University, majoring in Anatomy and Cell Biology. She then obtained her Optometry Degree at the University of Waterloo, graduating on the Dean’s Honour List.

During her studies, Dr. Wong completed an externship at Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Affairs Hospital in Oklahoma, where she gained experience in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, including retinal vascular diseases, glaucoma and macular degeneration. She also had the opportunity to provide eye care to underserved members of the community at the FISH Eye Clinic in Kingston, Jamaica.

Dr. Wong is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Ottawa Society of Optometrists.

During her spare time, Dr. Wong enjoys trying out new places to eat, traveling and working on her next DIY project. She looks forward to providing eye care for you and your family!
