Doctors of Optometry

Dr. Megan Law

 

Dr. Law was born and raised here in Ottawa, Ontario.  She received her Bachelor of Science from McMaster University, and then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo, graduating on the Dean’s Honor List.  She was the recipient of the Eschenbach Low Vision Student Award in her graduating class.

While studying at the University of Waterloo, she completed an externship at two Cherokee Nation Health Clinics in Oklahoma, which expanded her knowledge in ocular disease management.

Dr. Law is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Ottawa Society of Optometrists.  Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, crafting, and going on walks with her dog.

Dr. Lindy Mackey

 

Dr. Mackey grew up in Kenora, Ontario and completed her Bachelor of Honours Science at the University of Waterloo. She continued her studies at the University of Waterloo’s School of Optometry where she graduated on the Dean’s Honour List.

During her studies, Dr. Mackey completed an externship at the Lexington Veteran Affairs Medical Centre in Kentucky focusing on the treatment and management of ocular disease including glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration. In 2016, she participated in a charitable eye care clinic in Moldova.

Dr. Mackey is currently a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Ottawa Society of Optometrists. Outside of clinic, Dr. Mackey enjoys traveling, art projects and spending time outdoors. She is excited to be starting her career in Kanata and looks forward to meeting you and your family.

 

Dr. Annie Soucy

Dr. Soucy completed a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa in 2007 and graduated on the Dean’s Honours List from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2011. In 2014, Dr. Soucy was awarded Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. She has been a volunteer with the College of Optometrists of Ontario since 2012. She has also been active in the community, speaking to family doctors and other health care providers about the benefits and importance of regular eye care.
Dr. Soucy was born and raised in Ottawa, and she especially enjoys hiking and tap dancing. Dr. Soucy is an avid traveler, and as part of her love of travel has participated in two charitable eye care clinics abroad – in the Philippines in 2012 and in Kenya in 2015. At home, Dr. Soucy is an active member of H.O.P.E Ottawa-Carleton, a local charity.
