Dr. Annie Soucy
Dr. Soucy, formerly Dr. Micucci, completed a Bachelor of Science from the University of
Ottawa in 2007 and graduated on the Dean’s Honours List from the University of
Waterloo School of Optometry in 2011. In 2014, Dr. Soucy was awarded Fellowship in
the American Academy of Optometry. She was a volunteer with the College of
Optometrists of Ontario continuously from 2012 to 2021. She has also been active in
the community, speaking to family doctors and other health care providers about the
benefits and importance of regular eye care.
Dr. Soucy was born and raised in Ottawa, and she especially enjoys hiking and tap
dancing. Dr. Soucy is an avid traveler, and as part of her love of travel has participated
in three charitable eye care clinics abroad – in the Philippines in 2012, in Kenya in 2015,
and in India in 2018. At home, Dr. Soucy is an active member of H.O.P.E Ottawa-
Carleton, a local charity.
