Dr. Vanessa Wong
Dr. Wong grew up in Oakville, Ontario and completed her Bachelor of Science at McGill University, majoring in Anatomy and Cell Biology. She then obtained her Optometry Degree at the University of Waterloo, graduating on the Dean’s Honour List.
During her studies, Dr. Wong completed an externship at Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Affairs Hospital in Oklahoma, where she gained experience in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, including retinal vascular diseases, glaucoma and macular degeneration. She also had the opportunity to provide eye care to underserved members of the community at the FISH Eye Clinic in Kingston, Jamaica.
Dr. Wong is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Ottawa Society of Optometrists.
During her spare time, Dr. Wong enjoys trying out new places to eat, traveling and working on her next DIY project. She looks forward to providing eye care for you and your family!
